Summary
This technical note presents an analytical solution for drawdown caused by pumping from a partially penetrating well with wellbore storage in a uniform anisotropic confined aquifer. The solution is used to examine how partial penetration, storage, and anisotropy affect transient drawdown behavior and extends several classical limiting cases in aquifer-test analysis.
