Summary
This paper develops an integrated modeling framework for planning and managing the water-energy-food nexus under socioeconomic demands and environmental constraints. The WEFO tool is designed to analyze tradeoffs across sectors and identify cost-effective strategies that also account for impacts such as greenhouse-gas emission controls.
