Santa Fe has been home to EnviTrace from the beginning. Since our founding here in 2021, we have been building science and technology in a community with a deep connection to water, energy, natural resources, and environmental stewardship.

Science and technology from Santa Fe
EnviTrace develops AI-enabled tools for geoscience and environmental challenges, including water, energy, geothermal, critical minerals, and subsurface systems. Our work combines scientific expertise, advanced analytics, and physics-informed modeling to help make complex data more useful.
That mission has a particular connection to New Mexico, where water, energy, natural resources, and environmental stewardship are closely linked.
Project RAIN
Project RAIN brings together EnviTrace, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and the University of California, Davis. The team is developing an AI-enabled scientific workflow to improve understanding and prediction of connected surface-water and groundwater systems under the U.S. Department of Energy's Genesis Mission.
RAIN reflects EnviTrace's focus on applying AI alongside domain knowledge and scientific methods. The goal is to help researchers better understand how water moves between surface and subsurface environments.
We are proud to be building this work from Santa Fe and contributing to challenges that matter here in New Mexico and far beyond.
